Hey guys, I am organizing a MDA tourney for my fire local.

My question is.......

What do you guys think would be a fair entry fee and what would you guys expect with that fee??

I think this would be a great fund raiser but I just wanted to see what some of you "tourny-only" guys think.

Thanks,
TN

I am thinking like a pasta dinner at the end. It is for a good cause. You could contact some manu's and ask them to throw in some swag. How many teams are you looking to attract? What is the goal amount you are looking to attain?

Still early on in the plan.

I figure if I offer an affordable price and package, teams will come and still make enough money to give the MDA.

Thats the problems all ohio tourney players are cheap.... they except next to nothing for an entry fee and huge prize packages and it just doesnt work that way. We have tried a lot of different things with the tournies we run and it seems the only success we've had with getting people to show up is a real low entry fee and the payouts arent great ... essentially the winners break even. But with this event being for another cause you may have better luck.

I am look at $50.00 entry w/ all day air, 1 case of paint, fie;d fees included.

The only thing that I am look at is plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. No payouts. I would hope that anyone who entered would do so understanding it is for a charity.
