I just got my new ir3 this weekend, and i like it a lot better then my old one, which i only had a week, so any way, i was just wondering what all you front/mid players preferred as a pivot point, i have it set in the middle right now, and i figured i would see what a good pivot point would be before i took the trigger out and turned the adjustment screw right side up, for some reason wdp makes it complicated to do a trigger adjustment and sends the adjusment screws in upside down so that if you did want to adjust them you would have to take the whole darn board out, well anyway, enough bablin

The best point I consider, is the rear pivot point. You can get high rates of fire. If you do flip the screws right side up, make sure you re-loctite them.

Grizzleh......actually I've found that leaving the over travel screw in that way makes it much easier to adjust. You pull the grip frame off, adjust your return screw and then put the grip back on. Now you can just move the board aside, and adjust the over travel without having to remove the grip frame 10 times to get it right......see how much easier that is.

get a set of ball-end allen wrenches and you wont have to remove the board. it only takes 5 seconds to do with the right tools. mine are ''bohndas'' brand, bought at hobby store. emmit and i have discussed this a week or so ago, do some searching for more info. i use the middle pivot with about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 mm pull, w/ 0 overtravel yes i know im different, i wear gloves and i found that w/ a little more travel, i increased my rof 3 to 4 bps when walking. this probably wont work for everybody tho.

I like the rear pivot point, it lets you do the wierd firing position of having your hand on the lower half of the grip pulling down. Actually caught myself doing that on accident a few times, guess its more comfortable to my wrist in some positions.

I use the rear trigger pivot, I have it set at about one mm, with the switch being clicked in the begining of the pull, it's super fast, I can easily shoot 16 bps during a game.

I use the middle pivot, and it's extremely short. I get lots of comments on it all the time.

The middle is pretty dope. Nice length, lots of speed.

I have mine on the middle with no trigger job. I want to try the rear trigger pvivot and a trigger job. I hit 15bps last weekend and it was my first time playing with it. not bad
