There is no MT in florida. I know of two who tried but WDP refused because there numbers were not high enough. You see you have to move a certain amount of product before they will consider you.
Even though one of these individuals moved quite a bit WDP still was not satisfied. Dont get me wrong I LOVE my angel, but its not right what they do.
They should breakout the US into smaller regions and award there top store with the ability to ge thte MT training. Not just basic tech training.
And for those you says this is not true, I heard the whole conversation. Still love the product but it still a business. Its just that this ploy to move more guns just hurts the consumer.
Not that I dont get great service from the master techs that are out there. I just dont get the turnaround time I get from local stores. (Shipping time even with overnight) I loose a practice If I need to send my gun in to a MT. If it was local I would usally drop it off monday and pick up by friday at the latest. Not to mention the 40$ in 2 day shipping there and back (with insurance of course.)

hmm. do i respond to this or just suggest as third lobe and go to what will be the newest mt center....first give splat attack a call they can hook you up.
ik first, their isnt anything that is called mt training. we have achieved our positions buy working for the company for a minimun of 5 years each. you cannot teach that level of training. my suggestion is that anyone wanting to learn our product is to start at a place such as pti (paintball training instutite) and learn basic skills. anything we have learned as mts was learned in that manner. for somone to want to service the markers they sell all you have to be is willing to fix the markers for free and return the parts to be replaced under warranty just as we do.each season we have a tech class in hunting beach that is an extencive 2 day class.the class is basicly free to any store owner that wants to attend. this provides you with a certification that proves you have been trained for our products.i am not sure what the conversation you were in on but it has nothing to do with the "amount" you spend except you cant just become a mt center becuse of the volume of guns you sell. dont take this post wrong it wasnt ment to dis your post but i felt the need to respond.

I still like the original way of training.
Work 2 full tourneys. Old school NPPL events that ran 5-6 days. or a Zap Am. in the humidity.
That was true training, none of this air condition rooms for training.

What the heck does that have to do with learning to repair a marker?

well apparantly the zen of tech training u have to endure punishment and mental anguish in order to push your mind and body past the limitations of normal techs (end sarcasm)
lol i have no clue, in fact i think it's better to have it in a comfortable room that way everyone can focus on teching and not worry about dieing from heat...

honestly ? walter is refering to the way we had to learn.set your ass down at a major event and prove your salt with baptisim by fire. you worked a full weekend at your own expense and were judged by your peers. if you were fit to move on you were blesed if not you tried again at a later time. walter will attest as well as the others the current system of becoming "certified" is almost a joke. sorry for that jab but the truth was in the pudding back in the day.no air conditioned rooms and parties at night, just dirty hot misrible events in a tent with old school ballers down on your neck with broken leds with busted wiring looms that had to be soldered to be fixed. hell most dont even know that the iao was a woods only event held in the hills of a small town called "cranberry" where you played up hill both ways...lets here a hell ya walter for old time sakes !!!! sorry guys, just having a bad day, normaly i wouldnt have posted that....

i understand better now that u explained it more in depth, the older way was kinda a way of weeding out anyone who wasn't truly dedicated to wut they were doing. In a wierd way that actually sounds fun to me, but then again i like teching other ppl's guns and stuff...
