Hey
After your maker has been broken in, in order to fine tune it approx. how low can you put the lpr...I think mine is set to 60 but I have to double check....Would it make a big diff to lower it to 55?

Nah. 5 psi is no big deal. I believe the lowest the gun can go (stock, that is) is in the 40-45 psi area.

you shouldnt be too concerned with lowering your lpr. an lpr of 55-65 should be fine. every guns is different. just because one gun can shoot at 40 psi might not mean urs can go that low. just stick to the 55-65 range and you should be fine

a lot LPR means nothing.
DM series guns come at around 70-80 psi out of the box. so, if you wanted to be like a trix, you'd actually be raising your LPR.
again, LPR means nothing. getting everything to work properly together, thats where the money is.

jedi techs?
sorry i dont frequent these forums man. im also sorry i misspelled "LOW" and put "LOT"
regardless, a low lpr doesnt mean much. sure, go ahead and brag about it if it makes you happy, but you'd be better off having your eyes working properly and your LPR/dwell balanced nicely

...Ok, sarcasm aside, my post was meant to impart that LPR (regardless of your choice of setting, hi-lo) IS IMPORTANT...considering that LPR is one of the factors that controls the operation of your marker, be it effectively or efficiently.....
But, C-123 is correct that a 'balanced' system is the objective to ensure the marker functions reliably and effectively....

you're right. i'd also like to change my statement. the LPR pressure IS important. Having a Low LPR is not.

I have my Evolved Fly LPR set at the "low" side of 55. The bolt still bounces off my finger but it hurts more than it did at 40ish. So I get a little harder hit on the ball but it still doesnt chop/break paint. The super cool thing is that my velocity stays above 290 from the beginning of a hopper to the end no matter how fast the marker is shooting. So I dont worry about the "settings" so much as how the marker is "balanced".
