ok just been at practice and am getting mad with my trigger.

every 5 or 6 shots the trigger pulls back but then doesnt go forward all the way...i have to shoot at the floor to get it working for the next couple of shots, and then it starts again...its really weird.

some say its the trigger pin, others the solenoid, others the 'leaf spring' or something. am new to the internals so stop laughing i cant hear you

had it serviced and the trigger was fine, but then it started playing up again 3 games later...

im on the brink of madness

cheers for any help
Matt

my guess whould be toe screw or leaf spring. make sure that the set screw that pulls the trigger is loctited (blue), so that it doesn't screw/unscrew itself and cause problems. also make sure that your leaf spring is returning your trigger all the way. if it's not strong enough then you can have return problems. you can try bending it out a bit to give more force.

which one/where is the set screw?...and the leaf spring for that matter lol

open the left grip cheek (the side with the window for the board led's) and look at what's happening when you pull the trigger. there is a set screw in the trigger (the "toe" screw) and then the leaf spring is a little strip of metal that curves down out of the board and is pushed on by the toe screw. after you release the trigger, you'll see that the leaf spring returns the trigger to the ready position. so if the leaf spring isn't strong enough to return the trigger the your gun will stay in the "fired" position, in which case you should see three green led's lit (you'll see the same thing if you hold the trigger in). if the leaf spring has been bent in the past (to give a lighter pull) it can be weakened and bend itself out of shape. also sometimes with the repeated vibration of the firing of the gun the toe screw will shift itself slightly in or out so that it doesn't fire properly anymore. a little loctite will seal that thing in there good so it doesn't move around.

as it seems you're new to angels, check out the manual to get a feel for the marker. it's really quite comprehensive and easy to understand http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/

right ok it seems the toe screw is actually getting stuck on the leaf spring, so it stops (looks like friction) as it goes down the end of the spring, and has to be pushed forward for it to go back to the ready position to fire again...is this a case of toe screw or leaf spring adjustment???

ok fixed. i actually rotated the toe screw anti-clockwise without realising and its not sticking anymore...praise the lord thats much better

thx for the help :)

Put a little grease (not oil) on the spring where the screw touches it and it'll help too.
