heres a manual link http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/ take a look at it. when you charge the marker should be switched on (switch to the left). you will have the cascading lights, but you shoudln't be able to hear the solenoid click when you pull the trigger, nothing should happen. when i charge i always plug the charger into the gun first, then turn it on. the lights will cascade for several hours, then when it is fully charged you will see a single red light blinking slowly (the very top one). unplug the charger from the gun, switch the gun off, then switch the gun on again and you should be ready to go.

...but does the top red led flash slowly? If so, it's charged :)
Rule of thumb when charging... marker off, connect charger to marker, turn marker on, connect 'power' to charger.
That works for me :)

when my speed is completely charged, a single green led is illuminated. As in the manual

i believe that it's a single red LED...

it is a RED one - the single GREEN means it's ready to fire ;)
