LOL There are a couple things you can do, but not much. Regardless of what you do, send me a PM if interested, it won't be as fast as a Halo or Empire.

A z-board is about your only upgrade for an egg unless you want an intelliegg. Last weekend I had my z-board egg on my G-7 shooting 19bps without any problems. For those of you that think that is not fast enough that's fine, it's fast enough for me.

if you have the y-board in it you can mod it out to fit 3 9v's feeds faster than a halo could ever dream of, and cut the paddles so there are 3

Eggs hold more balls, shoot fast, and never break a ball. Z-board is the best upgrade or mod.

1.) Keep the Y-board.
2.) Cut three of the props off.
3.) Modify the hopper so it uses 3 9v's instead of 2.
4.) Take out the variable resistor and solder in a 100k ohm resistor.

I've done all of the above and have hit 25 bps on a drop test.
not bad for an egg

you've got my interest. wondering if you have any pictures of your work so I can copy it and also if you can draw a quick schematic of where this variable resistor is in the circuit so I can find it.

thanks.

Here are pictures of the 3 9v mod...Also, included with the pics you can see how I cut my prop...The variable resistor is the speed control knob on the board...you just have to unsolder it from the three contact points...when you solder the new reistor in, solder it to one of the two in-line points and the other point that's not in-line...good luck and if you have any more questions, shoot me a PM

Oh yeah, P.S. I am not responsible for any damage done to your egg based on your incompetence...I have ran this set-up for a couple of months w/o a hiccup and I know it works...but if you damage the board, it's not my fault...sorry, nothing personal, but I have to protect myself :)

Do not cut your paddle. I did this a while back and found that in drop tests it did improve the bps, but the same cannot be said when its on the marker. I would get 24-26 bps in drop tests but when on the marker the paddles would just bend all the way and the marker would only shoot 15 bps. I have tried many different things to strengthen the paddles but that did not help. The 3 9v battery mod works but unless you are prepared to make a new paddle like I did, its not worth the effort.

With my custom paddle, new servo, intellifeed and battery mod, im feeding 23-25bps on the marker. Its awesome to see an eggy out shooting a halo but it was a lot of work and a lot of money. It might be cheaper to buy a used halo and intellifeed it (which should sort out the ball crunching).

Just my 2 cents.

Dont mean to run anybody down, these are just my findings.

Hey, I have heard a couple of people say what you have, but on my gun this weekend I was shooting 23 bps. My bro's A$ w/ reloader B on speed 3 only hit 22 bps. Both of the bps were reached by me during a game. The cutting of the paddle hurts speeds on a z-board not a y-board. The reason is the z-board relies on the force to push the balls harder. The y-board relies on speed to force the balls into the raceway.

I don't have a picture of a board...and to be honest, I don't have the time right now to tear my board apart...however, if you unsolder the dial (variable resistor) just solder the new resistor to the 2 contact points...it's pretty simple...shoot me a pm if you need more help...I'll try to help

It seems to be great, I can't give you exact figures, but from what I've noticed, it seems to be at least as good as stock
