tank gauge

can i replace a gauge on my hpa tank myself? I bought a bob long 0-5000psi gauge for my tank and i wanted to know if its possible to replace it without sending it in to a proshop and if so how do i take of the gauge, wat tools do i use and do i need to put teflon or loctite or silicone or something on the threads of the new gauge?

It's easy, just make sure that the tank is empty before you start. You can usually take the gauge off using a wrench, check behind the gauge. I've always used teflon tape on new gauges, slowly filled them to a couple hundered pounds and then checked for leaks.
