Is there anything I should order with it? Any "must haves" ?
Also one quick question, on the Dark IR3's , are there any places where paint is really hard to get out? deep milling anywhere for example? Also should I get dust or solid?? :puzzled: Its hard to tell in a picture, but on the side behind the breech there is milling that looks like mesh behind there or something... looks like a pain in the ass to clean.

I suggest you get dust. And a "Must have" is you should get a good Drop Forward. Sorry i don't know anyhing about the hardest places to get the paint out of the milling.

The mesh pannels behind the milling are just covers for the 14 way, what i do to prevent from cleaning it out everytime paint gets in there is to tape the back side of the pannels or you could just use the solid replacment pannel that come with the gun.

okay since noone that owns a Dark has yet to answer this I will help you out. Of all the milling on the back of the body, there are a couple of little holes that you will need a Q-tip or something like that not because it's hard, just makes it easier. The finish depends entirely upon you, do you want to be dull or shiny. I got my black one before they were doing the dust black and I love it (apparently more than a few people here seem to like my gun as well). Yes you do get the standard mesh and solid plates, it's up to you which ones you want to put in there, talking with Bill Mills he puts the solid plates in because of all the sand and dust where he plays. Here in TX I've been using the mesh plates and have yet to get any paint inside, the holes are just too small, and there is a good amount of milling around them to prevent a direct shot right on them that would cause paint to get inside.

You can put the solid plates behind the wire mesh ones too, they fit.
I colored mine solid ones red, looks good against the mesh.

Like I've said before spend the money on a tool kit. I'll still swear it's the best money you can spend to care for your new baby.

There are two that you can install on your gun. One is for the LPR and the other is for the Ram. The one I always recommend is the one that has the gauge, LPR tool, Ram tool, and Ram extraction tool. It's not the torpedo looking ones.

my dark gets paint all over it all the time...but it's not too hard to clean up....the volumizer that comes with the dark in my opinion is sorta ugly....i like the ones from twisted...with the matching breech knob....both things are mostly cosmetic though

Well, this isn't a must have really... But about cleaning the paint from the marker.... You guys don't actually get shot in the marker do you??? Hahahahahaha
Just pokig a lil' fun......
With this high end product upgrades are not usually needed right away.... A Halo or EVO II would be required to enjoy the high rate of fire though.....
