I have the same problem.
-Your batteries charged we know that.
-Make sure ur lpr and dwell are set correctly.
-Try using a friends tank that u kno gets good conistancy see if things improve. If they do get your tank checked out.
-If not try a borrowing one of your friends reg and put it on ur gun to see if its the mini-reg. I was havin the same problem. I tried a friends cp reg and was gettin +-5, with the mini-reg i was gettin nasty spikes even after a rebuild. If you find out its the mini-reg try rebuilding it or you can ditch the mini-reg and buy a sidewinder reg, i have one on the way.
-If its not your regulator, degas your gun, take the gauge in your toolkit and screw it onto the lpr side (right side looking into the barrel). Gas up the gun and fire a few shots. Watch the needle to see if its creeping or acting weird. It should whip back to what u have ur lpr set at every time. If not then the problem could be your lpr.
-If your still getting problems after that make sure your exaust valve spring is seated right and the valve pin doesn't have to much wear.

we just went through everything from the tank to the exhaust.
-If your still having problems you it could be something in the ram. Make sure it lubed and tightened. And make sure you get some friction opening and closing the breech.

Sorry for my grammer. I hope I helped you...

You shouldn't have to replace anything often (if at all). The ram can get a bit 'bashed' with wear-and-tear - but it'll keep going.

Just have it serviced by a tech or a MT (see links at top of page) every 6 months or so (or learn how to do it yourself) and all will be sweet.

As for your 'spiking' - have you set your paint flinger up like Ken suggested?

You should rarely have to replace anything. Just keep it clean and you'll be good. A couple of drops of oil every once in a while will do. If you play a lot your detents will start to wear and need to be replaced.

Take out your ram and lube it up real nice. Check your LPR and make sure it is set correctly.

The only other things that could make you fluctuate like that would be a bad tank or a bad reg like Satanicus said. I have had a problem like that on an lcd and it turned out my mini-reg was just really dirty. I took it apart, changed all the o-rings, cleaned it, and then re lubed it and not it works great.

I'd agree on doing a little TLC to your minireg.

I had it ones.
But that was because i used bad paint.
So are you sure you got good paint, and not old crap because you then got a bad barrel/paint match.

Thanks a lot guys, your advice is most welcom. However there is just one more thing( im becoming a pain i know but i will have it all mastered soon ) ..........

How do i check to see if my lpr is set propperly? If it is not how do i set it up?

Thanks for your patience

you have to get an angel tool kit

...or rather the lpr gauge from one. Buying the full kit is really recommended though. I've got the 'on-gun' ones - much easier to find the right tool for the job when you need it most (usually just before you are due on field ;)).

Had similar problems on consistency with a couple of markers including Joy and a Rasta frikken played with everything when a knowledgeable gentleman said “hey bro try my tank”

Since selling my Maxflos and buying preset crossfire tanks I can honestly say range 285/290 +/- 5fps is easy to get and maintain.

The Angels regs seem to be no problem and I suggest before you rip anything apart make sure it is nothing as simple as “Garbage in = Garbage out”
