ohk so i have the opportunity to buy 3 diff sizes (S,M,L) of volumizers anno'd to match my speed 04 from the guy who i got my gun from. i could pay $30 extra for these 3 volumizers. OR i could get an aftermarket one, or i could run no volumizer.

i am to understand that a volumizer gives you a lower pressure and less chance of velocity fluctuation during long strings...why would i want several sizes of volumizer? should i get all 3 for $30 or a cool looking aftermarket one for the same price. or not use one? opinions.

I am about to order that Dirt Products one. I was looking for help aswell when adjusting the LPR does removing shims raise or lower the lpr pressure?

as for your question. as i understand it. the bigger the volumizer the lower you can adjust your lpr to compensate for the raised gas volume. Lower Pressure=higher volume. so i guess it all depends on how low of a pressure you want your angel to operate at.

You only really need the medium one - but it's down to personal preference again ;).

I run the medium as per Ken's advice.

it seems to be the general consensus that the medium one gives the best efficiency

taking out shimes lowers the pressure.

personally, i got the fly style volumizer, which i have heard has the highest capacity, i did this only because i like the way they looky on my 04, but you can only buy limited colors, black and silver i think. Like everyone just said its all about preference, and most people use the medium, which i think is the one that the MT's use on the force guns.

I have this ugly large one but it matches my gun. I played with and without it and didn't notice a huge difference but on the chrono the gun was much more consistant. I went from +/- 9 fps to about +/- 4 fps.
