how do you get a halo b hopper to work on a angel 04 speed. need to now.
the halo B works fine for some people, just some have problems with the sensi because sometimes it puts too much pressure on the stack. u just need to lower the force of the halo inside the shell. may need to get some new sensi rods just in case.

not rods, pads, the rods dont break its the strip in the pad.

just to let you know tho, i never had a problem with my halo, with the stock board, or the victory board in the halo, but others have, so yo may or may not have a problem.

You could take the sensi rod out (or the sensi board). That would stop you breaking it.
Then again...get the 'eyes' and that rod problem just goes away ;)

keep the halo, if its not workin for u, sand the sensi rod down a bit till its almost flush with the bottom of breach. It'll still detect the ball without risk of breaking ur pad...

...but remember to take the rod out of the gun to do it :p.
Personally, I use a 'z' egg - and it works for me. I am 'supposed' to be getting an eye conversion very soon (I finally found someone in the UK who is going to do these - yipee!) so I will be putting a Halo (of some description) on it then.

i'd say go with a z boarded egg. halo b tends to put too much pressure on the stack and could screw up ur sensi pad. Also due to the design of the speed the bolt leaves too much room for rollback which will lead to chopping. Then again you might be lucky and have no problems at all. good luck.

eyes or not if its not setup properly you will still get chops.
the main reason most people get lots of chops is they do not know how to set the ram posistion. you want your ram screwed in so that the breach slightly clicks open and shut. this gets the bolt as far forward as possible thus reducing ball rollback. a soft face bolt will help this also but setting the ram is where it counts most.
as for the sensi pad. i use a halo with victory board and have never had and isue with it. if you do break a pad then you know your rod is to long. you just take it out and give it a couple quick rubs with some sandpaper. not alot thowe. you may have to take your gun apart and put it back together a few times to get every thing just right, but its better to do it a little at a time. because once you sand to much there no putting it back.
do these two things correctly and you will see chops become a thing of the past.
