My eyes are working just fine but I was curious on what would be the best and safest way to remove the eye cable from the board? My eyes aren't broken, it would just make cleaning and tuning the trigger alot easier if I were able to remove the frame from the body.

Ya I was thinking of that but I wasn't sure how strong the ribbon was so I just dont feel like breaking the eyes and forking out 30 bucks. The ribben just seemed to be a littel recessed with in the board, so it is ok though to pull slightly on the cable to remove it from the board ?

ya, just try to pull with ur fingers mostly on the part going into the board, try not to pull it out by the actual ribbon.

How does the gun shoot? I am thinking of doing the same to my IR3. If you dont mind me asking how much did it cost.

The guns shoots great, looks good, and really feels like a new gun. The price was right around 400, so it may seem a little steep, but it has no glop or messy wires stuck into the frame like other conversions. I really haven't had a ton of time to go to the field with school and work, but when I go I can make a whole write up and post some pics so you other ir3 owners can have an idea of what you can expect from the conversion. The 400 included magnet mod with master tech trigger, and also a tuneup with the converison. From the start I had a little shootdown so when you get the gun back, just up the dwell a little bit and it will be shooting like a fly.

Who would you recommend to do the conversion? Who is the closest tech near texas?

Bob at fixmyangel did my conversion, and he does great work along with the rest of the master techs. Check out this for the store locations and contact information: http://angelforce.tv/stores.html
Turn around time depends on how busy they are, but I would send them an email to whoever you decide to send the gun to and tell them what u want done and ask them what the expected turn around time is. It's probably around 2 weeks, so it's really not that bad. If you decide to get the conversion, get the master tech trigger and magnet mod, or if u have a trigger you like get the magnet mod. Gives you a nice snappy return and with mine I also got a stronger magnet so it is pretty user friendly.

When i get the conversion do i have to tell them i want the magnet mod with master tech trigger, and tune up or is it included

You have a form which u can tell what u want done, the master techs do a tuneup standard with the conversion I believe. Just email them what you want done and when you send in your gun have the email there along with the note.
