I know that there are a few earliere posts about this subject.
But is there anything new under the sun concerning to this H.U.D. Feature.
Does it just turns on and off the text roling messages ?

H.U.D stands for "Heads Up Display." As you said, it stops the scrolling messages.

It must be a feature that will allow for software upgrades.

Maybe someday they will make it so that info from your marker pops up on the inside of your mask lens in front of your eyes, like the HUD speedometer that reflects up on the inside of the windshield of newer Corvettes.
:rrrright: :puzzled:

I bet for a loader system whether it will be an add-on to existing ones or a WDP-made one, I am not sure.
What does intellifeed need three cables for? It just takes two to spin the motor... :puzzled:

but there is only 2 wires......even from the site rail. Only reason it's a 3 plug is because the LED's needed all 3 wires ( +,-, ground) for charging. Look at the LCD's, and IR3's coming from the site rail to the board is only 2 wires.

I see... so the intellifeed plug is the same that the LCD used to charge?
And yes, the plug just get's two cables, so if you were to use the plug for carrying data you'd need to change cables... as much hassle as a new sight rail with different plug (or wireless connection lol)
I guess I didn't think that my previous post too much :duh:

no, the LED used the same plug to charge and run the intellifeed. The LCD's used a different plug for charging, but instead of redesigning the intellifeed and making it obsolete from 1 generation to the next they kept the same plug for intellifeed.....

hmm maybe 2theMaxx21 is right..maybe WDP will make something so it projects some messages or stats on the inside of your lense and it will tell you stuff...and maaaayyybbbee they will have the new MEM2000 software that tells you that youre about to get bunkered. haha just kidding

Just in case you couldn't tell, I was kidding about the HUD showing up on the lens. But I wouldn't be surprised if something like that showed up in about 10 years.
Look how far paintball technology has progressed in just 10 years.
Who know what the next 5-10 years will bring.
I think some of the milestones in Paintball are Mag, Constant Air,Revy,Angel,Freak.
Maybe someone better qualified can put some dates in there.
I started in 1998. Who knows what the future will bring??
