Do you think the Stiffi switch kit has proven itself as a top of the line barrel kit, or do you think it's just overpriced and all hype?

I had a Stiffi Sw!tch kit and loved it. However, it was way too light for me. It was an excellent kit and very well made. It shot thru breaks really well. Barrel breaks were seldom when I used the kit but when a barrel break did occur, I did not have to stop to clean it out. After a few shots, the barrel pretty much cleaned itself out. But that probably has to do with the type of paint you use. Thicker fill paint will be a little harder and take longer to shoot thru.

All in all, I loved it just way too light. Even much lighter than I though it was going to be.

does the fact that the bore sizers are short affect the performance/accuracy of the kit? Has anyone had any problems with their stiffi switch kit?

i love mine...

tho i would rather it be inserts such as the freek kit or the pipe kit its still a great barrel. its so light its amazing, it feels like its not even there in your hands when you hold it. if you belive that most of the accleration of a paintball occurs within the first 2 inches of a shot then this barrel is great for you because that is how long the back is.

strength. this barrell is super strong. stronger than most other barrell kits out on the market to day, this is because of where the seems are relative to where the point of most stress is. im under the belive that when i slide into a bunker with the barrel in the mud the pressure is in the middle of the barrel about 7 inches down. (no proff(sp) for this just what i belive.) and in kits such as an freek or ultralyte the joint between front and back is right there. on the switch its not. pluss its made out of carbon fiber, what they make jet planes out of, so yea, very strong

Stiffi. If nothing else, you get to use all the silly stiffi jokes...

But in all reality I have the Stiffi Switch kit in 14" & and additional 12" bbl and I also got the two smaller bore sizers. I have no desire to get the 16" bbl.

The fit and finish are top notch.

I have both Stiffi and CP kits. Both are great, but the CP kit is now a backup for me and my teamates. Switch kit is the way to go.

after using different barrels the stiffi is pretty good on accuracy...but wat i love about mine it the sound signature of the gun is much less than other barrels. definitely a plus

I also have a stiffi and love it... I have tried the pipe and also an ultralite and did not like them as much as the stiffi... it really does muffle the sound from the marker more than other barrels....
