SM-1 orbium 2 OR SM-1 orbium 3 kit?

Looking at a new barrel kit. What would you guys go with? The 2 or 3 piece sanchez barrel kit for the 05 speed? On fix my angel they only carry the 2 piece. What is the best setup? Right now I have a stiffi .691 12in. Need advice for my new barrel. thanks for the help. :notsure: :stooges:

I'd recommend you determine what aspects of the barrel you desire then prioritize them, i.e.:

1.) Performance (probably no difference between the two sets)
2.) Ease of maintenance (2 pc. = 2 O-rings, 3 pc. = 3 O-rings between segments)
3.) Quantity of back sizes available and differences/ranges between sizes for each set.
4.) Colors available
5.) Convenience: of transporting, storing, changing, etc.
6.) Durability (same as No. 1)
7.) Cost

The above are suggested factors and in suggested order of priority, you arrange/develop what applies to you....

Bottom line is the SM's are excellent barrels and compare favorably with other offerings in regards to cost, but more importantly...their value for your dollars is right up there among those considered the 'best'. Just because SM doesn't have a mega budget advertising fund doesn't mean their product is bad...just not well advertised.

Hint: Not well advertised does not equate to 'not well known or regarded'....

We carry both, I am just out of stock on the three piece kits. We are waiting for our custom kits to arrive and they should be here after May 1st

hehe, just found a reciept for one of the orbium 3 kits through Bob my wife tried hiding. Been looking at them, I guess she got me one for our up coming anniversary(sp?)

different bore sizes, the regular orbium kit has some wierd bore sizes, this one will have bore sizes that r more "popular" with the paint companies... And i think it will have different length tips than the regular orbium kit too, im not quite sure on that one
