ok i know about the leak from the volumizer for about 30-40 shots, but i have wasted to tanks of air which equals alot more than 30-40 shots, and i was wondering if i sealed up the little whole on the volumizer would that hurt something, or explode or something there r scratches on the inside thats y i think i need to seal the whole, i dont know how the scratches got there they werent in my other kit and i didnt do anything to it, so im out of ideas.

thanks in advance

Have you checked the length of the rod? I received one that was a little bit too short (about 1-2mm). The result was that the part with the o-ring didn't reach into the "tight" part of the volumizer and therefore didn't seal it.

I e-mailed Gordon at Evolve. Got a reply right away that he would send me a replacement rod.

I was down at Evolve today with that rod being ~2mm short and leaking. Martin swapped it over for me and gave it as good tune up and now its sweet as!

They really know their stuff down there and extremely helpful. Great piece of kit.

I think this is the problem I've been having. I installed the rest of the kit with no problem, following the instructions and advice people have been giving. The only problem I had was this leaking from the volumizer. I troubleshot it every way I could and nothing was resolved. The only thing that seems to make sense is the length of the rod. I'm waiting on a reply from Evolve and hopefully they'll send me a replacement at the correct length. Then, I'll be able to tune my 5peed correctly.

heat up the loctite on the 2 ends of the rod and just unscrew both ends a bit

i fixed the leak problem( i just sealed off all the wholes of the kit) and it works soooo good now i got my psi down to 38 is i pump my dwell up 1 or 2, and no drop off, i can just sit there with my eyes off and blast away. This has to be one of the better products i have tested, even with the leak( 2 thumbs up)

First: lubricate, lubricate and lubricate.
Second: Change every settings in marker (Evolve Kit) without air.
Third: try to find a little bit bigger oring, i did that, and it's realy better.
