i wouldnt see any reason why not

its not like anybody is monitering you at home weather you are welding or doing somthing else with your tanks

tho it mite be funny returning the tanks with the O2 empty and the accedline(sp) full...tho you could prolly use that as well if you wanted to

I think the oxygen tanks are a bad idea, and they are designed to operating pressure of 3000PSI.

Keep in mind the deposit is about $150 bucks for the big tank and if you remove the valve you may have a hard time talking anyone into filling it for you.

A used scuba tank is a much better choice.

I just got to say this too although I did not think you were going to do it… You can not use pure oxygen in you marker because high pressure oxygen in the presence of any kind of oil will make a very large BOOM.

No. You may die. Just use a HP compressed air tank.

even if u get a straight answer u like here, i would run it by a certified air tech first, if something went wrong the potential is a pretty bad disaster...

Go to a welding supply store and get Nitrogen.
I run a 2500psi 80cf tank for my truck's airride. They also get 4500 & 6000psi tanks. The 2500 runs $12/fill not for sure what 45 or 6000 would be.
