Well, am thinking of getting another IR3 and selling my silver base model.
What are the differences between the C+C and Fly models?
Also, does anyone know what the standard colours that WDP do are at the moment for the C+C and Fly?
They have the C+C on the WDP site but no info on the Fly.
Thanks - Ben

From the pic's I've seen of the Fly its milling is a little more on the radical side, the barrel is a 12 inch'er, and it has a low rise Feed Tube. I'm sure there are some Pics in the picture thread.
Internally I dont believe there are any differences.

The C&C's and Fly's are both the same, except for the milling. The performance in every Angel is the same. As acoenfam1, the Fly has the 12 inch barrel, and it has the Low Rise Gated-Feed.
The Fly comes in the same colors pretty much. If you look on the Spnosor's sites, you can find the different colors. They have put some different colors out for the Fly also.

Nope, a Dark is all stock with milling.

Yes, I was pretty certain all models (except Cobra Mamba's and the like) had identical internals. I just wasn't sure what colours, fades, barrel lengths, feed tubes etc the C+C anf Fly etc came with.
I was also interested in the weights of the base, C+C anf Flay models?
I know once you slap on a tank and hopper you can't tell the difference but I'm just curious...

If you're really dead-set on doing something, why don't you save yourself the bite in the arse and just pick up a fly grip frame? You'll lose money off selling your IR3, plus the diff between that and the price you're going to pay for a new one will be your bost. I"m guessing it'll be significant. Used is used, no matter how new it is. Whoops, did you open that package? Well, it just cost you $400!
The only diffs between the C&C, Fly and stock IR3 is the price, the fact that you have more little areas to get paint in (and thus take longer to clean) on the C&C and Fly, and the grip frame on the fly. Call me crazy, but the stock model is the way to go. That's what I did. Cutlass? Who cares? It grew on me.

the fly is 4 ounces lighter than CnC...although it isnt very significant!

Well it turns out that America has had all our markers!
Tried to get hold of a Fly today (black dust) from WDP and a couple of other resellers here in the UK and everyone said all their stock was going to the states! No more black models for at least 6 weeks!!!!
I've already sold my base now and have my tourney in a couple of weeks - DOH!
Have had to go for a C+C (really wanted the 12" barrel that comes with the fly!) silver to blue fade. I just hope it's not the shiny type of finish. Or can they only do fades in dust (as opposed to gloss) as I would be happier with a dust finish...

A dark angel and a fly angel are the same except for milling you could not have a combination because its the milling that makes the gun. It would look cool though.
