New 05 user issues

Hi everyone. Just joined the bretheren of angel owners within the last couple of weeks, Got a blue to black speed 05 with a 45 grip. I did my home work for a couple of months before I got it, and managed to avoid or recognize issues that seem to be associated with the 05. I apologize if this message is already in other threads ( I am kinda a noob in regards to using forums :smiley: What I am asking is in regards to wear patterns. What is considered acceptable wear in the ram area below the breech block? (Once again I ask your patience,have only had the angel for 3 weeks, Is just a bit different that a cocker). I know that during break in the ram will wear the anodizing off the body, but In looking at mine I just want to make sure that it is in acceptable limits. And one other wear issue. Does anyone who shoots the evil pipe system ever noticed scoring in the barrel front? After only about 500-700 rounds,my front has score lines radial to the barrels axis. This seems to me to be excessive wear and I am in process to find out if something is out of spec in regard to the barrels manufacture. Any help would be appreciated. Ok, this applies to all parts of the gun. Whether it is the ram (metal on metal) or bolt and breecjh (derlin on metal), it doesnt matter if the anno goes away. Welcome to AOG. We are here to help you as best we can.

I have been witness to only 3 diff 05 speeds, I have noticed no similar or "typical" wear pattern, except that they all wear, I wouldn't worry about how much or where it is wearing off the anno if you see excessive wear on your ram then maybe worry but I don't see it happening. Also you probably already know this but the most common mistake I see with people on these angels is lubing the bolt. Do no put anything on the bolt ever. No oil, no lube, nada. Or esle you might see some wear worthy of concern. Just trying to help and welcome to AOG.
