today me an my teamates went out to play, and i set my 05 speed up like i always do. But after the first game my evolve vaulve kit messed up the o-ring wouldnt stay on. So i put that back on then when i would shoot the gun the ball would jus roll out the barrel an the bolt would get stuck and wouldnt come back. (the bolt was lubed well) then when i changed the setting on the reg to try an blow the bolt back when i would turn the air on balls would jus start flying out like i was shooting an auto gun,but i wouldnt even touch the trigger. please help.

for one the bolt isn't supposed to be lubed.

ya no lubing the bolt, if you use grease or oil on the bolt it will swell and get stuck like that in the breech, try to get it out and let it sit for a while.

for the first part of your problem, it sounds to me like the right amount of air isn't getting to the ball. I would think that the bolt failing to move back and the balls dripping out the end of the barrel are part of the same problem... not enough air pressure to the ball.

as everyone has said do not lube bolt! you probably have swelled the bolt which can cause it to drag, in some cases get stuck, go to fixmyangel.com and get a new soft face (at least I would). hope this helps...

Wow - I think nearly every thread on this board has in it somewhere that you should not lube the bolt - and the manual.
I just don't get this.
Evolve is Evolve. Start there with your problems.

1- DO NOT LUBE THE BOLT
2- If balls were rolling out of your barrel, your paint-barrel match sucks.
3- The bolt is sticking because your Ram is set to click on the back, not the front of the hammer. It seems unrelated but its true- ask bob- thats how he fixed my same problem.
4- If paint was flying out like that then your bounce is WAY too high...your gun prolly just started to kick and bounced like heck
Your gun is having problems because you are doing pretty much every basic thing that you are not supposed to do. Excluding the ram placement mistake- that is hecka easy to miss.

If balls were just rolling out your barrel then one of two things is happening, your detents are shot or your velocity is ungodly low. The balls rolling out of the barrel could also be from your oily sticking bolt striking the valve too slow and the initial burst of air in not sufficient to propell the ball out the barrel with any velocity.
As far as the bolt sticking forward. This could be caused due to a dirty bolt, the lube or any dirt that is between the bolt and the breech or you could have a very low lpr pressure. You are going to have to work one thing off at a time.
1. Clean your bolt. Remove any and all oil or grease from your bolt. Also clean your breech of any and all oily residue.
2. Since you said you are using the evolve check your LPR pressure and see what the output is. I would recommend setting the lpr at about 50psi for the time being and fine tune from there.
3. Ram adjustment. Adjust the ram so there is a distinct click at the front of the breech instead of the rear. Make sure you have air applied to your marker when you adjust your ram. WHile air is on only adjust the ram forward. If you go too far then disconnect the air, bleed the system and back off the ram then slowly try again.
4. Once you have done all three of these then try it out and see what it does. It should work like a dream but if you encounter further problems then ask again. Be as specific in your posts as you can so the members are better apt to help you.
