grease the oring on the shaft that slides up into the volumizer. It will leak for around 30-40 shots but after that it should be all good.

Question: did you put a spring into the volumizer cap first?

My kit was very weird it came w/a deformed lpr cap and i think evolve will send me a new one of those and now the stem this is extremely odd i think i might have got a deformed kit because also inside the volumiser it looked like there was a part of it messed up in milling it cuz theres like a chunk taken out on the bottom of it and thats right as i opened it up so there was no user eror in that.

I think it odd that your valve stem busted so I just assumed something else was going on. I.E. running it without a spring.

Mine's still leaking! Any suggestions?
Also, has anyone noticed a difference between the long Evolve volumizer and the short Evolve volumizer?

So I tried changing the o-ring (even though the first one looked fine) and greased that but it still leaked. I kept adjusting the allen screw and that didn't seem to make a difference. I kept shooting until the tank was finally empty and still nothing changed. It's still leaking through that hole in the volumizer. And yes, the spring was in the volumizer. What's going on?!

what pressure are you using at the input & out of the reg?

About 450 in from the tank, and I have no idea what's coming out of the inline reg. I currently have no means of measuring it.

did you try tightening the little set screw next to the hole? worked for me

I have the same problem (v2 kit), and it seems like the rod is too short (just a couple of mms). Because of this the part with the o-ring wont get all the way into the "tight" part of the volumizer and seal it.
If I unscrew the allen-screw a little bit and tilt the marker forwards before I turn on the air, the volumizer will stop leaking, but then the valve will leak. It is impossible (with my rod) to find a spot without a leak from the volumizer or the valve. I have also measured the rod and it seems like it is 1-2 mms too short.
I e-mailed Gordon at Evolve (sales@evolvepaintball.com). He replied in a couple of hours (he always does =) and said that he would send me a new one. Hopefully the replacement one is ~2mms longer...

Yeah, the length being too short has to be the answer to this problem. I've tried everything else already.

I received my replacement rod (2 mms longer than the first one) and the leak was gone! The kit now works perfectly on my Fly :)
