Does any one know if they made a new trigger for the 05 Speed, I hate my trigger, it feels too stiff and I have change the magnets around and it is still to stiff, Does any one if I take out the magnets will the trigger still work.

just a question, but did you overtighten your vernier wheel set screws?? If so, try backing them out a little and see if that helps.

Good point Spider... I did that when I first got my speed. I over tightened and it got stiff as a board.

Remove one of the magnets entirely. That really did the trick for me!
BTW: Trigger was Jimpacted by the MOTU.

You don't need to remove the magnets. I found that if you grease the bearing and the bar on which the trigger pivots, it makes it really nice.

In the manual it shows the small magnet front and the big back.Which is their normal position? My trigger is very light but I get a little bounce and wanna change it!

Originally thr small magnet was supposed to be in the front and the big one in the rear. Sometime after the manual was approved and they started making their production line they switched the magnets. As far as greasing the bearings go I would personally use a light light weight oil, maybe a couple levels above wd-40. Put a drop in each side of the trigger and then add a dab of grease to the bearings. The light weight oil will penetrate into the bearings better than grease will and adding the grease afterwards will help keep the oil from coming out of the bearings.
****NOTE****
I used wd-40 as a reference of viscosity levels nothing more. Do not use it on your marker because it can eat some o-rings like there's no tomorrow. BE WARNED!!!

Would love juice work to grease the bearing and the bar? Where are the rubber washers located that you are talking about? Thanks alot. O and to answer the original question, The trigger that comes with the gun is amazingly smooth I have never heard any one say that it was too stiff or even stiff. I would adjust the magnets before ditching the trigger. Hope something on here helps you out. Good luck

i found that the trigger on my speed had the very same stiffness problem. The problem is that the magnets are too close together. They present to much resistance because they are about 2mm apart. Any way what i did was remove the large magnet on the veneir wheel. Then i rearanged the veneir wheels so that the small mag is in the back and the "nomag" venir wheel in front. Then i put the toe adjustment all the way sticking out. Then i adjusted the front wheel so that it was as sensitive as possible. Then the post travel adjustment about 3 clicks before it was to short to fire. I greased the bearing with love juice and was on my way. If you understood wat i just said this allows for the back repelling magnet is as far from the trigger magnet as possible while still allowing for you to adjust the trigger to a pretty sweet length. It is super light and super nice!
