Well I finally got an angel tool kit off ebay and I wanted to check out my lpr pressure. When I put on the gauge it read a little above 80 psi(I have had my 05 speed for awhile and played 4 or 5 times with it, about 3 1/2 cases through it with no chops or problems). I thought that was way too high and decided to take out some shims but when I took out the piston there was onlyone shim in it. I took it out and I am now at a little below 60 psi. Is it alright to have no shims in the marker and at that low of pressure? I went and shot 40 paintballs through it and I had no shoot down but I couldnt see if the balls were going far or not beacuse it is dark outside.

Yes, it's ok to run the LPR that low. Yes you should be ok with no shims in the LPR.

You probably have more shims in there as well. With no shims the lpr can easily drop down into the 20psi range. It might not look like there are shims there but there are. You might need a dental pick to remove the remaining ones.

you need an angel tool kit to check the LPR pressure. Any of the sponsors at the top of the site will have them.
