Well i got my new 05 speed in and it is awesome. I havn't gotten in the tank yet but i have been walkin it with the eyes off. Anyways, i have a question about trigger adjustments. I tried reading the manuel but it makes me feel stupid

What is over-travel, and what is the return stroke? (i think i know what the return stroke is but i just want some reinforcement)

How did some of yall set up the trigger?

Out of the box i can do alright with walkin but sometimes i press wiith my index finger before the trigger has gotten back enough to activate. I think what i want to try and do is instead of the trigger activating like 1/3 the way through the total pull, i want it to activate 1/2 way through. This i think will allow me to have longer consistant walks.

Thanks for the help yall.

ok, the 2 little wheels adjust the trigger, one of them adjusts the trigger length, which is how far the trigger travles. the other adjust activation point, which is where the ball is fired during triggger pull, beginning middle end etc. just mess with them and get something that feels comfortable for u and remember to tigther the allen screw that lockes them in

Take the grip cover off when adjusting the trigger. This allows you to see the activation more clearly. Also listen, and look for the activation of the trigger on the leds on the back this will help you when adjusting. It took me a while to get mine how I liked it. Just keep moving the wheels and you can see what does what. Just keep the gun on in the eyes off mode and experiment till u find what u like, then go shoot some balls. :stooges: :patriot: :patriot:

Jerseyballer that's somewhat correct.

The front wheel controls the travel of the trigger from rest to the end of the pull. If you turn the dial towards the trigger frame it will shorten the overall trigger pull length. Likewise if you reverse the turn it'll increase the travel length. You may want a short pull or a very long pull before the switch is broken and the marker is fired.

The rear wheel controls the travel of the trigger from after the opto-switch is broken (and the marker fired) to the end of the trigger pull. Thus if you want little to no play after the marker fires you'll want to turn this dial towards the trigger frame.

In addition you can also adjust the TOE screw which changes the angle of the opto "breaker" as I like to call it. A common method is to adjust both wheels, lock them down with the screws and then adjust the TOE screw for more "fine" tuning.

It's important that you allow some travel before and after the marker fires in the trigger pull. Too short a trigger pull may cause the marker to add shots or bounce.
