Ok, here we go.I screwed in my pure energy HP air tank today, my very stiff unimount wasn't tightening properly, sounded like the air was very weakly flowing through, as if the unimount knob wasn't turned on full, but it was, generally I fix this by firing a few shots with the air flowing low like that and that generally allows me to tighten it until Im getting the proper amount of pressure.
I unscrewed the tank and tried again, this time the air was still flowing all slow and whatnot, fire sounds low pressured. I then heard something bust, I opened my breech and fired a few shots "dry fired", took off my barrel to assess the problem and there was a busted o-ring, thing split. I pulled it out and threw it on the ground and went in to get my manual and other rings, I have no idea where this thing was when it broke, im guessing, I can see a little grease ring right after the eyes where the indent for the barrel is, Im guessing its there, leaking did occur when the ring busted, Im just not sure where it came from. The manual does not have a picture of an o-ring there though, so Im wondering if im off.
Either way I think this problem is occuring because I am using an HP tank. The master tech around here, "who really knows his stuff might I add" told me that lp is key for angels. I think I will invest the 6 bucks to get the LP pure energy spring kit and see what happens, I think the hp is just too much for the marker. This should cut me down from like 850 psi too about 450 psi? I hope this is enough, this damn unimount is so stiff too! is it because there is excess pressure from the hp tank? Thanks, I realize this was probably longer than it had to be. On another note, I have conducted research and searched the boards for similar problems, but everyone seems to think hp on an angel is just as good. This makes me feel angry. Or like Steve Zissou...
" SWAMP LEECHES, everybody check for swamp leeches...Am I the only one who got hit? What's the deal?" :notsure:
