Hey i was shooting my speed the other day and i began to notice that after a 4 second or so delay the eyes would read a ball wether or not there was one or not, i still never chopped any balls but i was curious if this is normal. (It would dry fire with eyes on)

I don't think it's normal.

Sounds like a loader setting. What kind of loader do you have, and what setting is your speed on.

i have a halo with the speed set at fast force feed but it will do it with no loader on it or anything just turn the gun on wait 3 seconds and the eyes allow it to shoot as if there is a ball in place then ait another 4 seconds and same thing

yeah. Sounds like your eyes are either dirty or busted.

i remember seeing somewhere. That its very very hard to scratch your eyes. Ken even said you can just push it through w/ an alan wrench and nothing else, and it wont scratch.... dont remember what thread it was said in though.

I've never heard of putting a tissue over the allen wrench before removing the eye. I've only used an allen wrench with no tissue. I have two speeds in the family and so far (knock on wood) no damage to the eyes.

I recommend being very gentle. They look very delicate.
