Ok, guys..
i have an idea don't know if it dumb but i think it might just work.
If i am not mistaking, you have to take out the pivot point and the trigger to be able to fully adjust your trigger, back and forward movement of the trigger.
If this is not the case, please let me know :) (it will safe me a lot of time and work) :)
Whell what if try this,
I take out my board so i can adjust the screw on top (thats to adjust the pull backwards).
so when i try to adjust the other screw i just can't reach it, because it is to close to the frame..the screw will not move anyfurther backwards because my trigger hits the frame.. now when i would take a bit of the trigger of (the back) so it will get thinner, then i will be able to adjust the screw, right?
Will my trigger still be strong enough, if i take a couple of mm off?
and will this work?
Maybe i don't need to take the whole trigger out to adjust it.. but i just don't know for sure, as i don't own my ir3 that long :)
Hope i made clear what i mean... if it is not clear i will make some pics.. and post them here.
thanks for your advice.

Your manual has a stef-for-step instruction on how you go about adjusting your trigger.
Its very good, i suggest you read it.

You absolutely DONT have to take the pivotscrew and pin out, just to adjust the trigger. Saves you time. Unless your not happy with the whole trigger thing of course and want a new feel... I use the rear, and id recommend it to others.

the only reason to remove the pin on the trigger is if you want to change the pivot point of your trigger....for normal adjustments you do not need to remove the entire trigger, and not only will it waste time but it will take you forever to get it where you want it.
Now I do agree that moving the board is the best way I've found to adjust your overtravel. All I do is pull the grip frame, adjust my screw under the spring then put the grip frame back on the marker. Now I unscrew the board and and adjust the over travel, and then put the board back in place and test it. Unless you've got more patience than I do, or Allen keys with a different bend to them this is the best/fastest way I've found.

huh? i don't understand.. how do you guys do it :(
It just seems that i can not adjust my allen that is a the bottom of the trigger..
because the screw is to far inside the frame.
I also tried to take the whole grip of the rest of the body.
so my trigger would be able to be pulled further back so the screw would move a bit more into the frame (where the board is normally) and then adjust it.. but again... its a NO GO :(
i will try to adjust it again, tonight.. i will put my manual right next to me.. (i have read it though, i find it not that much of a help). :(
Thanks for all your help guys!

cairo....are your allen keys the exact same length on either side of the bend? That's the only thing I can think of for you to make that statement. Remove the grip frame from the marker, ppull the spring out of the way, and then stick the long side of the allen key down inside the hole. Wiggle the allen key around a little bit until it drops into the screw then adjust it til you're happy. Put the grip frame back on the marker, and then start adjusting the overtravel by unscrewing the board as I stated above.

Could it be that your screw is still in the original position?eg screwed in from underneath the trigger?
If so,take out the trigger, remove the screw and put it face up into the trigger spring hole, this way you can get at it from above!!

Paul...not sure how you got your marker but the only screw that was screwed in from the bottom that I know of was the overtravel adjustment screw, and I believe that this was done to facilitate the adjusting of the overtravel without having to remove the grip frame 8 bazillion times. IMO it's better this way, so much easier to move the board out of the way for a few seconds to adjust the overtravel than it is to adjust, put the grip frame back on, then test it, then pull the grip frame off, readjust it, put the grip frame back on, etc etc until you get it just right.....now you just unscrew the board make a little adjustment and BAM! you're off and running......

If i am not mistaking they are both screwed in there face up..
so i have to hold stick my allen in there upside down.:(

cairo......if the one under the trigger spring is in upside down then take that bitch out, and flip it. You want that one so that you can access it from the top. You want to be able to put your allen key down inside the trigger where the spring goes, you're killing yourself if you've been trying to take the trigger completely out everytime to adjust the trigger......wow! no wonder you've been having problems

emmit, i use a ball end allen on my over trav. screw. it works great and you dont have to remove the board. i got them at a hobbie shop, they are made for radio control cars etc. made by bondus.it only takes mere seconds to adjust. i have opto, have not seen inside of switch board to know if it will work on them but you should if it will or not. hope this can help someone. brian5
