Halo 3?

Ok at the end of the game after the first video and credits there is an extra video ( hope most of you gamers waited on the credits to go by) but at the end the big plant looking monster is talking to cartona and he sais i have many questions and you will answer and cortana sais ok and then the movie and game is completely done.

I take it that this means there will be a third Halo? if so i cant wait. -Eddie

ya, u can tell when they show that there is 3 rings and he has only gotten rid of two, and when he's in the ship saying i gotta finish this (just beat it again the other day so i remember it :)) but ya the third one is going to come out on the xbox 2 which is rumored to be coming out at the end of this year...

actually there are 9 halos if you count them on the vids in the game when the second ring is activated. x-box 2 is roumered to come out at the end of this year with FAR better graphics and ai. however halo 3 willnot be a launch game

im pretty sure i heard that halo 2.5 will come with X-box 2's. It's the same as halo 2 but with a few extra levels and enhanced graphics. Then in 2006 halo 3 will come out.

personaly i hate the way they didnt even let you play what you saw in the trailer for halo 2...which is obvsouly what will happen next in the story line.

the halo franchize is a license to print money for bungie and microsoft...as long as they dont compleatly bomb the next 2 or 3 halos there could be infinite halo rings...look at what happened to finial fantasy, it is even called FINIAL fanatasy but it was good and took of and now its loved by many. i dont think there is a way that halo will ever go away and bungie will always be putting them out more and more frequantly

I look forward to Halo 3, mostly because I have been waiting to play those levels shown in the trailer, and it is a kick a$$ game! It is one of the best if not the best multiplayer game I have ever played. But James Bond for 64 is hard to beat because it was kind of a leader in it.

There WILL be a Halo 3, but NOT at the end of this year, Halo 2.5 will be coming out at the end of this year, it is basically Halo 2, but for Next Gen (XBOX 360), they haven't set a release date on Halo 3, yet, but there WILL be a Halo 3, but Halo 2.5 first...

Are you kidding you have to buy all the memmory yourself, if you do, at least it is like 25 bucks for 128 mb of decent ram. So figure a gig of ram to completely pimp out a xbox 2 or 360 or whatever and if it is a 300 dollar box plus one gig of ram (corsair, the really good stuff)=around $500, sadly its true. I think microsoft is making a big mistake by making people buy their own memory. 500 dollars is a lot of money, less then my angel, but my paintball gun gets my fat ass of the couch.

also i saw a pic of the XBOX 360's (XBOX 2's) controller, its white and its smooth looking, exact same buttons and button order, but it looks like a dream cast controller :ph34r:

ok, it is not going to be called "xbox2" because microsoft think it sounds low end compaired to playstation 3 so they are nameing it xbox 360... and for price it is going to be 300 for basic and 350-400 for super. 500... dude no one would buy it... Xbox olny made it in to the business because of halo. peroid.

first of all i dnot think that halo is the sole reason for th success of xbox, just my opinion but i think xbox live put them on the map, its so much better than any other online multiplayer. and i believe that bungie is puttin out some new levels for multiplayer halo within the next couple of months, so chill out we still have a whole bunch of gamin to do before the new system comes out.

I have my xbox modded with a halo editor. Its cool, Nothing like shooting a flying warthog out of the pistol and jumping in it and fly around the board. Makes Halo one so much more enjoyable.

This guy on halo 2 hacked into the game code and he can fire 108 rounds out of the smg without reloading, and 8 rockets in 2 seconds, it is crazy. I think he should mod the rof of the spectre with the damage, and accuracy of the scarab gun, with a sniper scope, you would be invincible, all packaged in a inconspicuous plasma pistol.
