ive had my 2000 angel for about 3-4 years, never had a problem except with my battery where i believe it was losing its charge. im not sure what the battery life is supposed to be but 1 charge was good for about 2 days and the battery life gradually decreased from there until my gun could not go a full day without losing its charge. i ended up never buying a battery and the gun sat in my closet for about a year and half until i decided to start playing again. i oiled it, gassed it up and it was good to go, the battery seemed to keep its charge also( i was somewhat surprised).
That was about 3 weeks ago, now i have a problem where my gun will not turn on at all. it happened when i was charging it this morning because it was fine when i put it on the charger, and it also dropped off my car seat about a foot, so i think it is either the small drop or something with the charge because the electrical system in my car is all messed up. there doesnt seem to be any power going to the gun, i think it just lost a connection somewhere. i pulled off the backplate and a wire came off of the switch so its connection was little or none before i took off the backplate. so i soldered it back on thinking it was a simple fix, and still nothing. I have not checked the connection to my battery yet sipmly because im not sure how to remove it without yanking on some wires. i am thinking about sending it to fixmyangel for repairs and a 'facelift' any suggestions? if i cant fix it myself then is fixmyangel the best place? ps..sry about the long thread

any of the MTs is a good choice. whoever is closest to ya. im in MA, so i send my angel to Ken Crane (www.performanceangel.com) and he does a great job. my guns at him right now actually. MT's will take a look at the gun, tell you whats up wit it, and you can either have them fix it, or you could invest in getting a mod done. if you need to replace the board + battery, then id suggest just investing in FLY'ing your angel. then you have eyes, a faster board, and a 9volt.

I think I had the same problem did you point the gun down. My battery came lose and the wire came out. If that is take out the battery and suader it back onto the battery. You can get it out.. just unhook all the wires but make sure you know where they go to and push the battery out but make sure you got the right wires... It happened to me before becuase I was cleaning it and the battery got lose.

thanks for your advice, that is what i thought it was , but my dad tested the circuit with the battery and he said it was 3.3 volts i think...he tested at the switch so maybe that is what is bad. i want to connect the wires, bypassing the switch and see what happens. :boobies:
