I recently bought the v2 kit for my Speed 05 and having just spent another 100 dollars buying all the dang gauges required for this kit I am already frustrated and haven't even got it running. I installed the Hammer as suggested by evolve and then installed my Angel gauge to measure the LPR pressure. Lo an behold the LPR had been set from factory at 100psi. This dang thing has never been at the recommended 65psi as WDP claims. Now I am beginning to wonder if this is the reason for all the paint breaks that I have been experiencing. Needless to say, I never installed a shim so I proceeded to install the LPR adjuster. Once installed I gassed up the marker to adjust the LPR pressure and immediately air just blew out around the front of the LPR in the hole right behind the set screw that locks down the adjusment screw. I removed all the internal LPR parts regreased them and reinstalled. Again air just blew out of that hole behind the set screw. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the LPR adjuster? I am about to throw this evolve kit in the trash because I have already went through two Nitrogen fills trying to stop this dang leak.

drop the adjuster and set up ur kit with the shims and go with it, maybe evolve will fix the problem with the adjuster(which has alot of problems) u will notive a huge difference n urs from 100psi to 40-50psi

I cannot even get my angel to run below 80 psi with all the shims removed before the evolve kit was installed. I was schocked to see that it has been running over 100psi stock from the factory because it already had 6 shims installed. I removed all 6 shims and the lowest it would go was 80 but there was severe drop off. If i fired more than 4-5bps the gauge would rapidly drop to 10-20psi and the bolt would start stuttering and it would starve for air causing the bolt to stop sometimes on the return. I don't know that using the shims will be a fix.

I'm thinking that maybe your gauge is just messed up...

I swapped with another gauge and it still read the same thing. I also bought a 300 psi gauge to measure the input pressure on the exhaust side. I swapped that gauge with the 160 psi gauge, installed it on the lpr side and it still read the same. Three different gauges reading the same measurements, I don't believe it is a gauge problem.

I had the same problem with the air blowing out eveyhole! The lpr wasn't wooking out. I'm sticking with the hammer and volumiser. My 05 speed seems to work fine for now.
