It is time that we clear the air on some issues that have popped up recently on message boards and forums. The master techs from wdp and wdp together developed the new psp/cfoa/millieum /xball software as a means for players in those leagues to fit into the new rule structure. NO outside person or paintball upgrade Board Company had anything to do with this. Nor do we have a software problem that needed to be fixed and bundled into our 25.00 upgrade for the psp.cfoa software. It seems that some people want to take the credit or say they know all about what we do or suggest that the software wdp uses was their idea, Well folks guess what? It just aint true. Seems that the reason that the cfoa players cannot get their boards upgraded or get “warranty service or support” at the cfoa event is due to a problem with the fact that the person or persons that did the service has been removed from wdp as a servicer. We as wdp techs will provide you with quality, professional, insured (that’s right insured) upgrades that are not only approved by the manufacture but insured against product liability. Can the others say this? I think not.
Now let’s go to the issue of why we need to charge 25.00 per install. The master techs and wdp paid thousands of dollars to have the code writers change and fit in the new modes in even after their were no rules in place while building the current boards. The software was written and tested for weeks by us to find any possible glitches or bugs then were released as an upgrade. Did you as a wdp customer need to run out and buy a new board or wait for weeks to get a chip for your existing board? Nope, all you have to do is attend an event we are at or drop it in the mail with a quick 1 day turn around. It doesn’t get much better than that. So when you see a business criticize a company publicly with false statements and made up stuff it shows its true colors. So remember ask your self, do we need to buy a new board to get the software? The answer is no reflash it. If I buy a new board will it be faster? Yes but it will not pass the 1 pull 1 solenoid activation method unless it is in a pure semi mode. Can the stock board work this way? Yes it can it will out shoot anything on the market if you want to go from a true semi to a “add shots mode”. So for those real loyal wdp customers we have the answer for you just as we always will or can get. Want the most current info or breaking news or support? Stay with the people that have been here from the beginning and will be there till the end.

very nicely stated. I have always used intimidators or a matrix of one sort or other and decided it was time to try something new. I purchased a joy division and i must say the quality and workmanship on this gun are impeccable. just from reading the different forums i have decided that not only do you guys make a great product but you also stand behind them 100% hats off to WDP fantastic job.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but if you change the software on a 05 speed to the PSP/CFOA/MILLENNIUM etc do you a have a true semi mode on your marker?

Morfeus, from what I am told (correct me if i happen to be wrong) is if you have a FLY board then you lose the demo mode and gain the PSP and CFOA Mode. True Semi is not affected

But he has a 05 speed and I am wondering the same thing bc I may be entering the CFOA in September. If you still have true semi will it still be capped at 31 BPS with eyes on and 18 with them off?
