Ok, maybe I am a dumbass, or sound like a broken record, but why don't people try running this on setting 1? And if the loader is breaking paint b/c of crushing, does it do this on every other gun? Back to the point, isn't setting 1 pretty fast? Also, I was thinking, y doesnt empire make a Reloader C, which feeds fast but with a very low torque?

well i had an empire B and i ran it on every possible setting. even on 4 bats and setting one it chopped paint. less than 6 and 3 but i do not want any choppnig so i swithed to an egg. problem is gone (knock on wood) the egg is a fast low torque loader. ill take the 3 or 4 bps cut in order to get the paint to break on the fool on the other end. not inside the breach. but seriously who can actually outshoot an egg (22-24 bps) and according to (forgot the name) made a formula and figured out that you only need 10-15bps to hit somone on a perpinducilar run.

i put a small drop of silicone or rtv silicone for cars on the sound activating thing on the circut board .it not so sensitive now but with brittle shell paint i put the reloader on setting one and it still rips . i have been shooting pmi premium but dont get the all pink shell premiums it seems that color is more brittle than the others but the other colors i can use setting 3 on the reloader or you can just get a g7 lcd screen and grips then intellifeed your hopper and then you can have the best of both worlds .thats what i'm going to do

I ran mine on setting 1 with the 4 batt pack yesterday and still had problems. I am going to keep trying though... I really love my reloader and don't want to have to stay with the egg.

I ran 2 cases through the Reloader B trying all 3 settings, 6 batteries and never had an issue. I guess it's hit or miss?

i run mine on speed 3 with brittle paint it worked fine. the reloader b has torque for a very good reason, when you shoot a gun it has air that blows up the breech the reloader will keep the balls from doing that resulting in faster feeding.
ill out shoot and egg with new batt's, z board and prop mod u wanna do! eggs are slow 22-24 pff bull s***! i had the egg couldent open my gun up had to shoot slow. i doubt your egg feeds that fast.
empire reloader havings problems heres some tips
check out how its working take it off the gun watch it work see if you have any problems take the time to look.
BUY better Quality paint. x-ball to me is my new best paint do research;on paint find a stronger shell.how your paint reacts in the weather your in.

mine was breaking maybe 6 out of 100 paintballs on settings 1 and 2, and was a total blender on 3... oddly, when i run it on 3 on my old eblade it won't break even walmart brands... today i used my friend's stock halo B on my Speed and had 4 perfect hoppers without a single break in the breech or stock barrel... both guns were shooting a 270fps and neither of them were shooting faster than 16 bps according to the chrono.
anyways, setting 1 did nothing for me, but a stock Halo did wonders...
