DEZign bolt and cobra Valve?

I plan on purchasing the Cobra valve and DEZign bolt for my 05 speed. How much did this effect the efficientcy on your guns. Please respond if you have installed these parts. Currently with Crossfire 68/45 I get about 1200 shots with the dwell in the middle and a .691 barrel. All I have is the .691 stiffi and most paint I have shot seems like it could be a little tighter in the barrel. Should i get the next size smaller barrel like a .689? Would this help increase efficientcy, and what is the normal efficientcy for the 05 Speed stock with a 68/45?

Dezgin bolts are the best bolts made for the Angel IMHO. I had a +30 fps increase on my 05 speed from the stock softface. Supper slippery, excellent wearing. I have put 10 cases through it and it still looks brand spanking new.

Thanks I think Im going to grap one, How are people getting 1500 out of a stock speed? Does it make a difference how fast the shots are in terms of rate of fire. Or the time in between burst of fire. Most of my shooting has just been practice shooting in the backyard. I usually empty my 68/45 in about a half hour. thanks for the help. :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:

Shooting faster tends to empty a tank a little faster, IMO. Not enough to really notice. I am getting about 1500-1600 EASY off my 68/45.

What are your setting GusTopher? Also do u run an after market valve and bolt? Also what speed is your gun set at? Just looking to get my speed a little more efficient. I think I only get about 1200, Ill do more testing this weekend. Thanks for the input. :patriot: :patriot:

My LPR is 65, can't remember the dwell offhand... I am using a 68/45 lp crossfire.

DEZign paintball makes the best bolts and anything for that matter. it's run by a one man show as far as i know too...

Just got one myself, played with it all weekend long in a tourney just outside of Vegas. Using a med volumizer, hammerhead barrel and the dezign bolt [stock everything else] I put out about 300+ [1 hopper and 2 pods] balls per 1000PSI of air = 1350+ balls per tank. Not 1 break, and while the day was cool in the morning and going into the 70s by the afternoon, the gun never varied in the chrono more then 6+/- FPS before each game.

I swear by DEZign bolts. I've been using them for over 5 years and have found nothing better. The price is higher than most but they are worth their weight in Gold.

And that is because you did not read the FAQ page on that web page. Please go back to that page and read the entire FAQ explaining everything you need to know on how to get one. You wont regret it.

The FAQ does not list a Speed 05 bolt but trust me, I have 2 Speed 05 bolts from him.
