Eye conversion

Hey, i was wondering where i could just get eyes and another ball detent, instead of getting a new board? Im kinda short on money and dont want to get a new board since mine is fine already. Also, how much would this probably run me, including shipping? I live in WI. Thanks.

You need the Fly board in order to have eyes, your LCD board isn't made for them. With the Fly Conversion, another detent isn't needed. I've shot plenty of converted LCD and IR3's with just the stock detent and they work fine.

ken crane does fly conversion for $300 (angel LCD), you only have to pay for shipping to him. hes located in Massachusetts. you can also go to WDP's website and see if there is a closer MT to do it, cuz all of the MTs do the FLY conversion. they will put eyes in your gun, very fast board, and 9volt conversion. its well worth the upgrade if you want to stick with an LCD angel. if you think you'd wanna switch guns though, i wouldnt suggest spending the money, angel LCDs have 0 resale right now, so you owuldnt get any of your money back

Thanks. Ok so i went to the website and on the sign up sheet it says A4 or Speed. I have an LCD, so does that just mean which board i want? And if so which one is better for the money?

no, its talking about the actual gun. i did the same thing as you - i thought he didnt do the conversion for LCDs, but when i went to his store he said he did LCD conversions for $300. email him and he'll give you all the info you need

Alright, and will this board be tournament legal and all that? Also will the screen be LCD or LED?

-the FLY board is LCD. its tourney legal. all boards are tourney legal as long as you keep them off RAMPING settings and keep the debounce set correctly. just tell Ken to make sure the gun sint bouncing/ramping and it will come to you set up to perfection.
-my gun is set to be 100% tourney legal and i have a mod'd board and eyes. ive never had a problem with ramping or bounce

Ok, and so will i be able to change the settings on the board to what i see fit after i get the gun back? Like for ramping, and debounce just to have fun with.

You can change the settings all you want. When the gun is sent to you, it's set up for optimal tourny legal performance.
