Well I am new to this forum, but not new to paintball. I have been playing since I was 14 (I am 18 now). I haven't played for over 2 years though. . .but I am looking to get back into it. I still have my good old 2K1 LCD and everything that goes with it, except for an air tank.

Now, since my gun hasn't been fired in 2 years, what kind of things should I get replaced? I am going to replace the ball detent just because it looks like its in bad shape, and maybe the bottom line. What do you guys think? I charged it up today and it is working just fine, so the board and battery appear to be working great!

I do need a new tank since I sold my last one and am considering the following: a System X 91CI 4500 PSI, or a Nitroduck 90CI 4500 PSI. Pretty much the same thing, just wondering which you all thought was better.

As far as paint, I remember how touchy my Angel is about paint, so I am going to go with some good quality stuff. I am looking to spend about 50 bucks a case. So far I have seen PMI evil paint, Empire fuel, and PMI premium for around that price. Again, which of the three do you guys think is the best? If you have any other suggestions about what kind of paint to get, don't hesitate to let me know!

Since the gun hasn't been used in a few years, what else should I get to make sure my baby fires strong? Thanks for all the help, and here is a picture of my Angel:

Evil is brittle as hell. Stay away from that.

As for the rest, make sure you run some oil through it. Couple drops in the macroline, gas up the gun and fire it through. Don't forget to wipe the bolt off after 100 shots or so.

2-3 drops of oil in the ASA, 1 drop on the valve via the air port in the breech. Why do you want such a large tank? A 68/4500 should do you just fine. Oh, and lose the drop, nobody uses them anymore :)

Awesome guys, I am going to replace the line, its over 3 years old and could stand to be replaced. I have decided to go with a 68/4500, but I LOVE my drop forward! Gives my gun great balance. I will oil it up after I get my tank, and THANKS a TON guys!

I will forget about the evil paint, and go with something better. Can I replace the spring that returns my trigger myself? I would really like to. . .In a year or so I plan on getting magnetic trigger or something like that.

Try it without the drop, I bet you'll like it. Yeah you can replace the trigger spring yourself. Just take off the frame and it's right there.

Just be careful of the battery and solenoid wires, you may want to disconnect them from the board before you remove the frame.

Yeah whenever I take the frame off I am always TERRIFIED that I am going to rip the wires off the board. I will disconect them like you suggested. Great advice and thanks for the help!
