All i've used are evils.....

but they sell marbs here for a decent price (like 15 bucks cheaper than evils) so maybe i will give them a chance....

Formula 13. Five case and not one barrel break, chop or pinch from a fully stock speed.

1. Cheapest
2. Cheaper
3. Cheap

In all honesty I have no preference in paint with the exception of being uniformly sized and breaking on impact. I guess as a bonus I want something that's not too brittle that it will break in the barrel or break on a pinch.

Draxxus Hellfire/X Ball Gold would be a tie
Draxxus Inferno/Evil Midevil would be a tie here as well.
Marbs, but only when they are cheap.

I have to agree with El though, any paint that is consistently round and the size does not fluctuate much more than +- .002 is perfect. Most of the higher brand paints fit this rule.

There are a ton of white box paints that fit that too and as a bonus if you look hard enough you can get them that are consistant sized, break on impact and under $40 a case.

yeah but what field makes it economically feasable for you to use other than their field paint?

So, my answer to the question above is what ever good paint the field is selling.

So, my answer to the question above is what ever good paint the field is selling. This is true but as a field sponsored team they cut you all kinds of deals including making it feasable ane economically better to use some brands of white box. Their store can also cut you deals on their white box brands.

For practice we will generally use a white box, well boxes, and for tourneys we use either FP or if they allow us to bring our own paint we will use that. On long trips is it worth it to bring our paint when you are factoring in extra gas money to carry 10 - 20 cases of paint? More often than not it is cheaper to buy whatever they are offering for sale for a tourney unless we got an insanely cheap price on paint.

The price?

Actually, I'm told the fill is more consistent as you go up in price. I've shot all three and haven't seen any noticeable difference.

for the xball paintballs...the shell i think is more brittle the higher it goes. So xball gold is more brittle than bronze. yeah and price too. there is no big difference between them. i use bronze and they perform just as well as gold.
