i just got an 05 speed today! it's a graphite w/45* frame, and i put some lazer eyes in too. pretty impressed with it so far.(only got to run a bag of paint through it) but i've got practice tomorrow night so i'll be sure to push it to it's fullest ability(or as much as i can). sorry i know this isn't new to anyone who owns one but going from an A4 to this is pretty awesome. i've got a reloader b and an ignition 68/45. are there any imediate upgrades you guys recommend? i want an evolve but that will be later on...thanks everyone. i'll put up pics tomorrow.

Congrats and welcome aboard!
The only thing I would recommend right off would be a clamping feedneck. Like the Check-It sold at www.fixmyangel.com or the CCM Mid-PRO. other than that... let her rip!!

Welcome to the family! If the stock barrel isn't working for you then I would get a new barrel. There are some threads that discuss what barrels are good for the speed. And right now...just run it stock for about 4-5 cases for it to break in completely and after you can adjust the lpr, add a volumizer, lower the dwell and other fun stuff. Alright...have fun with it.

i've got a freak kit but it was crapping out on me with my a4, so what would you all recommend?

I use a Stiffi and I've also used the pipe. The stiffi's are REALLY light so if you hold one, don't think its going to break because it won't. But if it does, just send it in to Site Mfg. and they should replace it for free. The pipe kit is one of the best kits i've used. The only downside is that its pretty loud but even on the field i don't really mind. Again, there are threads that discuss this topic. Just run a search.

i liked the switch kit but it doesn't come with a big enough size(i need atleast a .693 or higher) because of the paint that we use at our field. anyway thanks for the help, i greatly appreciate it.

they do have a switch back thats .693. It just doesn't come with the switch kit itself.
go to:
www.carbohnay.com
they sell each back for $20 bucks and if you live in california its free shipping and no taxes. the pipe kit goes up to a .693 fyi.

If I were going with 1 barrel... just order a CP Classic .693. My bro has one and it is AWESOME! No way they should be selling those for only $40. Plus the dust anno matches perfect to the Speed.

Yes, nice barrel kit. It's essentially a CP barrel kit with Warped's labeling.
I'm still a big fan of strapping a .692 UL back and a tip length of your choice. As far as the Evolve kit, I'd enjoy your marker as is without the kit. Your marker can run at its full potential without it. Some people have spoken highly of the JAM bolt, I liked mine. But honestly, aftermarket upgrades/accessories are not necessary for the marker.

Hey Studmuffin, next time I get to your shop I will let you try my scepter kit, it has a .692 and .696 bore sleeve. Seems to work well with the paint at the store as long as I am not ripping too fast with the Halo B. Only had some problems with the Ink'd and Zap, proball and anarchy work beautifully. You can check out the specs of the scepter kit at Powerlyte.com. I picked up the 7 piece kit from them and they gave me a deal at 159.99 for the angel. You can also have them anodize the barrel back and tip in a dust color if you want to wait a bit for the kit. The scepter kit seems to work a lot better than the freak kit, and the inserts are much stronger and better aligned. Hopefully I can drop by some time this week, maybe more than 2 people will play on Friday night. L8r.

alright major i'd apreciate it. lol there should be more ppl when you come. i think we've had more this week then we did last week brlieve it or not. i saw it when you were last in. the cronic we have works fine with the infinity barrel(more accurate then the freak imo) but anything bigger was just not going to work. oh yeah for everyone that cared i used the speed tonight in practice and it worked beautifully. so i'm very excited about my new angel. and about my stock eyes...i think my dad's selling them in the proshop so idk if i could sell them to you or not(i doubt it). anyway i like the lucky 15 kit so i may get that and sell off my freak. i was going to put up pics but the camera was left at the proshop...guess it will be tomorrow night then...
