does the screw in part come off and if so will the rail for angel air adjustable screw on to the drop ty

yes the asa simply falls out after you losten the 2 lock screws on the other side that hold it in. The asa simply slips right in where the angel air would because it is in the same shape and locks in place the same way angel air would.
