I have an 04 Speed, and I'm considering getting an 05 Speed. I was wondering about the stiffness of the magnetic trigger. I will be trying one out before I buy, but the closest shop that stocks them is 100 miles away, so I thought I'd ask around here first.
I tried doing a magnet mod to my 04 speed, but it was so stiff I could barely pull it. It really slowed me down, so I ended up taking it right back off the gun.
I like a really light trigger pull, and I'm wondering if the 05 Speed fits the bill. It looks like you can't adjust the stiffness of the pull, so whatever it is, you're stuck with it. Or, am I wrong about that?

Ooh, that's good to hear. I really like the idea behind it, it just makes me nervous that I can't adjust the strength of the magnets. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

why dont you just order the gun online? theres way more options and its usually free shipping for something that expensive.
the trigger is HIGHLY adjustable on the 05 speed.... thats probably one of the best things about the gun

Yeah, I might do that. But I want to hold one and be sure I like it first. And, there's a shop in Phoenix that says they're selling 05 Speeds for like $900. Of course, I'd have to pay sales tax that way, so maybe it all balances out.

The trigger pull is incrediably light. you can adjust the trigger to be farely far forward or so small the wind would set it off. (not literaly)

My trigger is extremely light... I'm pretty sure if you wanted stronger magnets, you could hunt around and find magnets of the same size...
Ceramic magnets are some of the strongest you can buy..
