Ok. Im pretty sure my speed is broken in. I have shot about 2-3 cases through it, as well as a lot of dry-firing. Plus I have a fly volumizer, lpr at 60, dwell 2 or 3 lights up, and velocity around 280. The gun is consistant. Its just I only got about 800 shots off my 68/45 conquest (02 conquest). I just cleaned and lubed the conquest too. What is wrong. There are no leaks.

Can't help you other than to tell you that I also have my LPR at 60 and my dwell is higher than yours (11) and I get more out of a tank than you do.

i get bout 1000+ off my 68/3000. mines all stock, and i use a crossfire HP preset tank. dwell at 11ms. lpr stock. shooting 270 with +/- 3.
try setting your dwell to 1 led light.

Also, make sure that your Angel is properly tuned following these well known instructions:
"How to TUNE the Angel:
Setting the valve dwell...
Air-up the marker if it isn't already and head for a chronograph. Fire the marker over a chronograph until it stabilizes at 290 FPS or so, as long as it is consistent.
Now set your valve dwell to the highest setting. This is the least efficient setting. Fire your marker over the chronograph and reduce the valve dwell little by little. You are looking for the velocity to decrease. When the velocity decreases, increase the dwell setting until the velocity returns to the previous setting. Now your marker is at it's most efficient setting.
Now your marker is tuned and in tip-top shape to tear up the field."

Through what I've heard, REALLY breaking in your gun in order to start making LPR adjustments and what not don't occur until after about 10,000 shots. NOT dry firing, actually shooting a paintball is what they mean. You may want to run your gun stock for maybe another 2 or 3 cases and try to see if there's a difference.

Ok that is what i was thinking too, cause dry firing isn't quite the same.

:stooges: i dont get it...when i sweetspot the reg on my cocker (making it most efficient). i turn the main spring tension nearly all the way out (relatively low valve dwell setting). then slowly go up in pressure on the inline reg until the fps doesnt increase anymore (this should be 190-220 fps somewhere roughly)..then i fine tune the marker adjusting the main drive spring tension. up to about 290 fps. and that is supposedly making it most efficient. is there a different way to sweetspot an electropneumatic gun? i feel dumb now :wall:

are you sure that there is not a leek somewhere between the tank and the valve? it could be as simple as a leaky gague or o ring. im not sure if you mentioned it above, im just makeing sure thats not the issue. sometimes the answers are so simple i overlook them myself.

Nope no leak, not that I can hear anyways, and the orings look good, and I lubed them.

if you really want to be sure that its not leaking make a soapy water and put it in a spray bottle. spray it on and look for bubbles. after that i would check the noid seals. after that.....um....ill have to think of what else it could be. ill get back to ya if i think of anything.
