I was flipping through a issue of paint and I saw an ad with JC from Arsenal and he had a Halo on his Angel, it looked as if he was running an intellifeed.
1. Is that what it is?
2. Is there anyway to run an intellifeed on an egg?

yes, you have to buy the kit from wdp. and then something from radio shack (reed relay ) (sp) but not sure. i think you can send it off to be done.

Yes and I have done it. It works great with a little tweaking on your markers settings.

I have one question. Reading other posts about people doing the intellifeed themselves some people say they have not used the correct relay, and something was happening to the relay itself, basically burning up or something.
Has the relay that you have given been time tested and pretty much given a thumbs by you and other guys?

I have use the same relay for my FORCE4 and ANGEL FLY and MY G7, So about 1 yr
and cannot recall a problem with it inside the HALO B. Just make sure you do good soldering
I've only tried it on the EGG for 4 months and have not indicated any problems yet, So hopefully you don't jinx me

are you running two 9v's in series like the usual egg runs? cuz on the picture you only have one shown, and the relay you have listed is only rated to 5v/1A ... this is the one you're using right? http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F011%5F002%5F013%5F000&product%5Fid=275%2D232&hp=search

The 5v is the trip side of the relay [what activates it], which is getting 4.8v from your Angel battery. So yes its right.
Joe get Lauren to email me she has my address, I've been doing this for both the Egg and Halo on all the guns except the 05SPEED and I am working on a model for the 05 now.

If they had problems with the relay burning up, they probably wired it in wrong. You need to make sure that one of the wires from the battery goes to the contacts that are made, and from the other side of the contact, it goes to the motor. The ground side of the motor can be hooked directly to the - side of the battery pack. The wires from the gun should go to the coil part of the relay so that the gun controls when the contacts are pulled. http://www.angelowners.com/showthread.php?t=36580 . I got a replacement battery pack from radio shack that holds 4 AA batts instead of the stock 6 AA pack. This should keep your motor from burning up or your motor crushing balls.
