Obviously.. the Speed 05 is rigged to rip paint. However, I am a bit new to this style of marker... what vernier/electronic settings do you guys recommend to keep my ROF high? What other upgrades and mods will help me to hit those high bps numbers?

I prefer a longer pull for higher ROF's. Setting it so there's about an equal before and after activation works best for me.

Most people will tell you that the biggest impact for a non-software-assisted high ROF is your trigger pull. Work on your finger's trigger speed and that'll help immensely.

Trigga has it. Pirata is talking about feel - go with what feels right. My trigger pull is short and crisp and I rip MAD strings. WAY faster then El Pirata :P

Probably. I'm not ashamed to say I fire fast enough for me.

practice... when i bought my first angel i couldn't get over 14bps... after countless hours of tweaking and practice, I can hit 18-20 anytime and hold it pretty well....

...now i need to practice left hand shooting :\

I like mine short and crisp too but it always has bounce when i set it like that.... so i set it as long as i could and have it shoot in the middle if the pull....... if only it wouldnt bounce....

i can actually shoot faster with my left hand. i'm just not as accurate as when i shoot with my right

Sometimes my left hand shoots faster then my right. But thats because i started practicing by ripping right handded for 30 seconds switching as fast as i can then ripping 30 seconds with my left. Sounds stupid but it helps alot.

Weeeell, lets see. I have about a medium-long pull length, with activation right up front. It seems to let me snap easier and keep my hand closer into the gun and such. But I still shoot over 20bps. I will say though if you want one for long string of fire a long pull is awsome.

im with rampire on this one. FASTER ON THE LEFT. its a good thing for me. the team doesnt want to sit me out cause i can shoot out the left side better than anyone else on the team. i had no idea i could do it till i got the 05. i had a warp feed on my 03 speed (left side) so my left hand never toutched the trigger. all that repressed speed had to come out some day.

I used to shoot cockers...so I feel best at about 3mm pull length (crazy length in terms of Angels), but I have to go with Pirata on this. A nice long pull with the fireing point halfway through the pull works well for me and really reduces bounce. Maybe El and I come from the same stock of Old School Baller (Pre-electo assisted) ;)

ive got my trigger set up the same way. 2 or 3 clikcs foward and back from activation point. tow screw at 0. i just cant use a trigger with 1 click either way.

..trigger adjustments? :puzzled: ...venier wheels? :puzzled: ....clicks? :notsure:
... 'short' & 'crisp', long with mid-point activation :scratchhe

...I guess I must be old skool... :pat:

.. I just see the target and think of how many balls to send downrange and at what speed and it happens ... :owned:

yeah i'm right handed but i shoot left handed, but can use both. i can't walk worth a crap right handed. anyway back on the subject...i like a sloppy trigger, i seem to beable to shoot faster then a trigger thats tight.

ATTENTION WITCH KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a speed 05, and you want to acheive high rates of fire...you could work on your fingers like everyone is telling you to do ... (no offense to the others & practicing your fingers is important) but in the thread that you posted you are asking for advise on trigger adjustments; verner wheel, ect.. I havent seen anyone give you info on what you asked for, so I'm gonna hook you up.

1. Purchase a verner wheel pack, get one that doesn't have magnets in it.
2. Take the grip covers off. Unplug eyes, battery, and switch. Take grip frame off, so that you can see the verner wheels. Unscrew verner wheel lock screws.
3. Romove both the small and large magnets. Place the large magnet in front where the small magnet used to be (closest to the reg). Where the large magnet used to be (closest to the board) place a non magnetic verner wheel. You will not use the old smaller magnet.
4. Check your manual for proper adjustment instructions on verner wheel reset (see page 19)
5. Back off the toe adjustment screw. Back it off till it is flush, and then give it about one turn.
6. Make sure verner locking screws are set, trigger is back in place, and put ur gun back together. But leave the grip cover off.
7. After ur gun is put back together, you will immediatly feel the loseness in the trigger....but ur not done yet.
8. Power on ur Angel, and go to trigger off set in you mode settings. Put ur offset on one. (While ur there, go to loader type mode and set it at four.) Now the bounce is in ur trigger. Turn Angel off to set new settings. Turn back on and turn the eyes off.
9. Loosen the verner wheel locking screws. Slowly Pull the trigger, you will hear a click. After the click, keep pulling the trigger until it stops. This is what you will want to adjust. right now it is probably long return stokes and overtravel. 10. Rotate the verner wheel backwards to shorten return stroke. You want this to be short, but not so short that it takes off on you when fireing. Now you will shorten the overtravel verner wheel. Shorten it until it clicks, then stops - ex: 1/16 of a space. it's real short.
11. Tighten in the lock screws, and this is where you are going to need to just play with it. I gave you an example of how short it should be, trust me you are going to receive high rates of speed. It will take off on you. This is where you will learn though, dont be afraid to play with it. If you run into any problems, PM me. I'd be happy to help you out with any questions or problems u may come across. Have Fun!
P.S After you have ran 5 cases through it you can drop your lpr to 55-60 and dwell at 7. It just rips
