Leaking paint

I played with my speed a few times and every time i get paint leaking out of the eye covers. I have no chops but somehow just some paint about the size of a finger nail comes out when i shoot. I dont think it effects the gun in anyway, just wondering is that normal?? And if not how do i fix it? :bouncer:

O one more thing the first two hoppers will be fine but then the 3rd or fourth hopper i will chop every other 5 balls or so with my ultra lite. But once i put on my stock its fine. Its not the paint to barrel match cuz i tried 4 diffrent kinds of paint so thats another problem.

First thing, the paint coming out of the eye covers can only be from a hit or a chop/barrel break. There is no such thing I have ever seen as osthmosis that takes paint out of uncracked balls and lets them ooze out the eye covers.

Second thing, you could be having problems on the 3rd+ hoppers from battery usage. As the battery drains slightly it is feeding slower and the board's hopper setting is predicting the ball to be in the breech slightly sooner causing chops when it is slowed into the breech.

I would say "no" it is not normal. I've had lots of chops in the past and never once was it bad enough to have paint ooze out the eyes.

I'm also guessing your eyes aren't working at that point, right?

it might be that you got paint inside the hole that you are supposed to put oil in under the bolt and the paint came up throught the bolt and out the eye covers i have seen this done after some dryfireing it went away and make sure your bolt is clean even the inside.

i always have a lil paint in the breech or on the bolt or cummin out of the eyes at the end of the day of paintball, and i dont think its from chops or anything cuz i have never chopped once with my gun, it may be one of the balls leaked a lil bit and when u keep on shooting the air forces the paint to go somewhere so it comes out that lil hole where the detents are

sometimes your loader might pinch or break paint (under force).

:patriot: Ive had paint come out my eye covers. I only break paint if Im shooting with the eyes off, and if I chop, some paint will blow out the eye covers. Even if its a barrrel break Ive had paint come out the eye covers. Sometimes if you have a mild barrel break you dont even really notice the break. Everyday my gun spits paint out the eye covers, due it to paint that has sat on the shelf all winter, and or my bad paint to barrel match. But when your mowing and you chop one its almost hard to tell cause after 3 more shots your shooting straight again, well at least in my case. PS> you have to have a broken or chopped ball for paint to be in the breech and or around the eyes. If your shooting straight then i wouldnt worry maybe its just cheap paint or a def. one or two out of your three hoppers.

dont u mean diffusion, osmosis is the diffusion of water. this paint, so it would be diffusion.
