Well we met at 10 O clock at the pb shop in town to find out 52 people came. (More than we expected). Luckily we had a large field at my friends house that we could go to. It is an odd course because it has a combonation of (woodsball and speedball) When I started getting my angel ready everone started staring. (I live in Minnesota and an Angel is VERY rare to see.) It felt kind of wierd because I didnt know alot of the kids. Then we made teams and headed out to the field. When they said go I sprinted up to the half line of the field, I got 4 people out and then I broke a ball and then another and another. (It really sucked to be me.) I was super dissapointed and discouraged to say the least. I tryed to fix the gun but got the same outcome so I had to go to the truck and grab my A-5.

my friend uses an A-5... it was actually quite impressive after he put 600bux of upgrades on it. LOL Still sounds like a anti aircraft weapon tho, you'd swear someone was shooting a real gun at you... haha

I havent got it fixed yet. Im going to the pro shop where I got it on Tuesday, but for now Im going to try to fix it on my own. Thank god I put a ton of upgrades on my A-5. I ended up getting 28 people out total in the day, and got shot 3 or 4 times. It was alot of fun just because you can not not have fun when your playing paintball, but I was still very dissapointed.
What were you using for a Hopper?

Try not to be too disappointed with the Speed. EVERY gun has their problems and I'm pretty sure every gun will have their chopping problems. If you think that you spent lots on the Angel, one of the guys on my team has an Ego, which is more expensive, and it chopped a hell of a lot more than my Angel. Just find some good paint with a good bore size to match whatever barrel you have and I'm sure you won't chop and you'll soon love your new angel.

..... scratch.... (here comes the broken record)....
make sure first and foremost you're using good paint and the paint is matched to the bore. I know it's expensive to buy the good stuff but in the long run, you won't regret it after you assign a certain value to the amount of time and effort you're going to put into solving this problem.

I use an Evolution 2 with y board it works great I have My hopper settings on my gun set to Force fed type. My batteries are all brand new.I havent messed with my dwell at all its still factory setting. The trigger offset is all the way. My velocity is at 300 feet per second. I have not changed the pressure so thats still at factory setting too. I also always leave the angel eyes on. The other thing is today I was trying to fix it and (I dont know if this is how you tell for sure)but when I dropped a ball into the barrel it sat at the top. I had to push it into the barrel and then blow it down. If I put the ball in from the top it would go all the way through without touching it. I was thinking of getting a 14 inch dye ultralight or a 14 inch evil pipe but money is somewhat an issue. Thanks guys for all the help youre great help.

Sounds like your paint was way too big for your barrel, especially when you mentioned that you had to push on the ball to get it fit into your barrel.

I also found a leak of air comming from the front reg. So now I have another problem to take care of. This is getting expensive to go through air like this.

You forked out 1k for a speed and are complaining about a $3 air fill?

No Im complaining because I used all my money to get the gun and I dont have much to keep filling the air at 4.50 a tank.

go for the simple stuff first. make sure you got decent paint and a good paint to bore match.
I said above this was a broken record...

once you find paint that matches your barrel you should be mowong on the field. i had a chopping problem out of the box too. ram adjustment, lpr drop to 50, highest dewll, egg 2. and i just put 500 shots thru it and not one break.
i know what u mean by the leaks. they bother me because the fill station is a 30 min ride from where i practice. just check the o ring
