Why do you have to use a specific charger for the angel lcd and not a charger say bought from an electroics store?

i've heard of people using ones from electronics stores fine

than i've also heard of people litarally having smoke come up from the grip frame and the board start going nuts (giving numerous error codes)

I would recommend that you stick with an Angel charger. Because if the very small chance that way if something were to happen to damage your board, WDP would cover the damages.

the voltage

the angels need a certin input to the battery. given it's a european manufactured gun they vary from our standards. don't know any exact figures just that it's picky.

How about the KAPP wall charger for Angels? Does that work or no?

the Kapp will work fine. OD NOT BUY ONE FROM RADIO SHACK they aint made for the job.
