heres how an angel will perform in the extreme cold

Just got back from a tournament in New Brunswick, the temperature was around
-21c (approx. 8 or 9f)in the morning. indoor was around -8 to -10c

Playing inside an uninsulated barn 60 feet x 90 feet a small fun tournament

was shooting Diablo Blaze paint, 6 out of 10 ball were breaking from an shoulder hight

the Angels dwell setting was at 15, and I'm not a fast shooter with cold fingers was only able to get 11 balls a sec.

Only POP (not chop) one single ball at the very tip of the barrel, compared to any other markers chopping and breaking balls all day. It gave me the advantage to bunk some of them since the were spitting paint every were.

So just to let some players know that She will not let you down in the cold

Yea, you got to love the weather. Toronto is the same way; it's too cold to snow apearently (-20*C all last week). Cold holds back practicing sooo much. All the indoor fields are 3 and crowded 5 mans.

Anyways, yea, I just crank up the dwell and slow that ROF. Usually paint is so brittle it will start chopping instead of pinching most of the time. I bring a few squeegies along for the ride when it gets really cold.

ya gotta love that feel of cold paint on already cold skin too.

Out of 2,890 cycles I'd guess I was breaking (barrel/bolt) 3 per hopper.

Good work out for the squeegees.

lol guys come to Canada and try that out, its super cold thank god for indoor or i would be dead, ugh woudl that be fun practicing in a foot and a half of snow. "hes in the 50! ok now hes on our 30.... lol" just dig tunnels would be quite interesting. as for cold and ball break i tried shooting a hopper of Maxim at 280 FPS. i think i broke one out fo the whole hopper, not bad for brittle paint in sub zero temperatures.

I set my dwell to 17 after breaking alot, worked fine then on.

I am thinking of attaching the squeegie to my leg...it will be there, pointing up and ready to slide my barrel onto every 100 shots... I never thought I would hate the winter paintball months.

I forgot to add i left the car running all day and kept my paint in the car, even my pack when not playing.

At first I left the gun in there to but after realizing the gun was acting up till it stablized to the outside temp then i left it ( the gun ) outside for the rest of the day.

Check were the breaks are if you can, If it at the bolt then check the ball detent screw to see it free moving.

If the breaks are in the barrel then get a Barrel and Paint size match.

I was playing at dwell 15 and had only one ball break at the tip of the barrel and was in no need for the squeege kid next to me.

just played in calgary at mr tourney held by mike carey of the iron men.used rp shear premium(brittle paint)i have a ir3.played over 15 games.i broke 3 balls in the first day the then only broke 1 ball the next day because i lent my teammate my new egolution since he was playin back as i was playin front..man was it cold in calgary minus 27..inside was about 10-13 degrees.i noticed my ir3 doesn't like the cold so i kept it on my lap and wrapped it with a towel.then she rocked allll day..but didn't help for the 4th place finish..uuhhggg it suckz when u don't place...
