Cops

Hi I have tries search buy haven't found what i was after. Now I am new to the IR3 and mine is still in the post which should be hear next week. My question is can you get cops to default to being on when you go live or do you have to turn it on every time you go live. I can't see this feature in the manual supplied on this site. The main reason I purchased the IR3 was because of cops and now i find out it will be a pain in the arse. I'm sure other paint sensing guns default to on so why is the angel different. Asuming it is of course.

Once in live mode turn cops on by pressing the middle, yellow button ,don't hold it in to long if you do it will put you into the cops programing mode , once cops is on leave it on don't turn it off who you switch back into safe COPSnow remains the defaut setting and will be active everytime you go into Live mode. just turn cops off when you no longer need want to use it

OK here we go. If you have selected COPS and did not turn it off before you put the gun into safe it will still be on the next time you turn the gun on. Or once it's on, it's on untill you turn it off. As for if the gun will default on and what the settings will check the factory default page in the manual.

As for it being a pain once it's set you're GTG. I'm guessing that since you just ordered the gun it should come with COPS 2 which is hands down better than the original cops.

Thanks for that mate. Like i said it wasn't that clear on the manaul i downloaded. At least you have answered my worrie because that is the most important feature of the IR3 i think. Also I hope it's cops 2 etc and i am sure it is as it is a new dark but as i'm in the uk it isn't beyond possibility it's old stock but i doubt it.

If it's a new Dark then yeah it should have COPS2, Warped started selling their Darks with MEM6/COPS2 just before Cup. So no worries there mate.
