COMCAST going bad?

well my comcast connection is lagging up at night.

starting to drive me crazy!

but works fine in the morning/afternoon..once it hits evening it slows down noticably.. :angry:

most likely because thats when the majority of people are online sucking up your bandwidth. DSL>cable (imo) but then again im on dial-up = {

Definately a bandwidth issue. Even on cable I see some times the my connection slows up and you just have to deal with it. Find a another time to surf the net when no one else is online.

i heard they where quadrouping(sp) their bandwidth tho...i forget how

so if that claim is legit it shoud help tremoundsly(sp)

My mom was home on the computer and it was lagging a lot. She called comcast 5 times and they kept saying it was just the net work cause they were doing something, and she kept saying she thought it was the modem. When they finally sent someone, he looked at the modem and went. "Jesus these things suck! No wonder you are having problems!" They gave us a new one free of charge :)
