how do people make these things? they get 3 9v power clip with leads i think. then they solder the postives of 2 to 1 and then the negatives of 2 to the negative of 1.
if u see something wrong here, please tell me because i really want to make one of these on my own.

sounds like 27 volts total then. if the leads are two positives to one negative, the batteries are connected in series so the volts add up. If they were all three positives to each other, it would still be 9 volts but mega battery capacity.
I'm wondering what the effect of 27 volts to a 9v motor will be.

9V batteries do not have the current that 6 1.5V AA batteries do. They have to wire every 9V in parallel so every positive will be tied together and every negative will be tied together. That way you still only output 9V so you won't fry the electronics and you boost the maximum current overall. This will provide more than enough current if the loader jams.

some people say that they think that this is actually slower to them. i want the battery life, but at least keeping the same speed would be nice.
and i meant that they are wired in paralell, i jus forgot exactly what a paralell circuit is. im gonna try this with my z code board and old motor and see how it works. but hopefully it wont fry my angry board IF i even try to use it with that.

i've got a wire harness for this...i'll try and take pics of it if i can remember. the loader seemed to stay the same speed btw.

The speed wouldn't change and neither will the battery consuption. You will still be using the same amount of battery if not a little more.

the two nine volts is lighter the the six AA batteries, nothing that would be noticable during game play though...

well the two 9v's are wired in paralell so u basically have 2 9v's that are outputting the same as 6AA's because of the paralell wiring. if u had 1 9v the battery life would change, but 29v's working together to output 9 volts should be twice the battery life.
i cant explain this too increbily well, someone please chipe in and have a more understandable explanation.

You wire in parallel (+ to + and - to -) to use the capacity of the batterys. Still 9v.
You wire in series (+ to - and + to -) to use the added voltage. 18v for two [add the v]

yea, i know how that works, but with 9v mods its different. because on the clips, the "male" plug is negative while the "female" plug is positive. so u do 2 reds to 1 back and 1 red to 2 blacks. the only reason u do that is because the clips are usually used as a PLUG rather than a substitute for a battery sort of.
too bad i cant use this on my angry board because it voids the warranty.

yup. u need to reverse the "male" plug otherwise your halo will spin backwards
